Bleeding from Nose

Bleeding from nose is a common problem seen in ENT emergency Clinics.
Common in children and adults having hypertension. Usually common in dry weather.
In children the cause is generally nose picking.
In adults the casue is generally hypertension.

Whenever you see a person having nasal bleeding just pinch the nose and apply ice over forehead. while the nose is being pinched breath from mouth. This way you can save blood loss while the patient is being rushed to a specialist.

In winters when using heaters or blowers place a utensil full of water in room so that the room air doesn't dry. this will prevent nasal crusting and hence bleeding as when hard crusts are removed from nose bleeding can occur.

ITCHING IN EARS

Lot of people have this habit of itching in ears, the more they itch the further itching increases.
Different material are used ; like match stick, broom stick, key, pen, pencil, finger and bud. Ear is the part of body which you cannot see, and since you cannot see it so you cannot clean it. So whenever there is problem of repeated itching one should consult ENT specialist; because itching might be due to dry skin, fungus inside ear canal, wax, infection of ear canal or pus in ear canal.
An ENT specialist can only see, assess and give you the proper advice; as cleaning with different objects may aggaravate your problem.
